Groups and Clubs

As we move forward into the new year we are experimenting with new ways to grow and strengthen our fiber community. As some of you may already know we had to put our group nights on hold for a while after receiving complaints that the groups were loud, crass, and the language was not always appropriate. We have since settled on offering 2 separate groups through the end of the year to see if this helps matters. We will be offering "Silver Stitch with Paulette" on Fridays from 11:30 to 1:30 and On the 2nd and 4th Fridays we are offering the rowdier crowd a meet up from 5-7. This group hasn't got a name but it will be hosted by Dayle.
As always we have Midnight Stitch on the 3rd Saturday of every month. This group meets from 6 till midnight and involves snacks and a fun atmosphere.
This week we will have our first D&D knit meet up. While this test group is currently full, if it is successful and more people are interested we would like to expand it to a recurring event for more people. Please let us know if you would like to participate in the future! It will take up residence on the 1st Friday of the month if it is something people want to continue.
Next on our list was something we have been talking about for some time now. we have several avid readers and librarians as well as book shop owners who frequent the store. After talking about it we have decided that we should try a...drumroll... *BOOK CLUB*. While this idea is still forming we would love to hear your input. Would you like to read and discuss the same book as a group? or would you rather read book of your on choosing and discuss it with people reading other books? What types of books should we read? Mystery? Comedy? History? Books about hobbies and crafting?
Let us know what you think and what you would like to see in 2025. We are always open to suggestions and ideas and we love to hear from our customers.
Keep stitching friends,
Dayle
